During the interaction, the moulvies were sensitized about not adding fuel to the fire by giving provocative statements. The Cdr also addressed the locals and urged them to persuade the youth in their villages to stay away from protests and stone pelting. He asked them to have meeting with the youths and explain them about the adverse effects of these anti national activities. They assured that they will try to aptly guide and counsel the local populace who have been misguided by anti national elements. The locals requested to open the schools and banks as it is affecting the future of the children and the routine transactions respectively. The civilians were also ready to provide their own buildings to conduct tuitions or computer classes for children. The Cdr assured them all possible help from the Army. This positive engagement is a small step towards normalcy.
